Rose Atkinson : I have enjoyed taking photographs ever since I was given a Kodak Instamatic for my 11th birthday… although as you can see, my interest started way before that – Daddy made the toy camera for me because I wanted to be just like him. My first “grown-up” camera was a Rollei 35, which was and still is a great camera. I bought it in 1979 and still have it. I converted from 35mm SLR to digital in 2004 and am now using a Canon EOS 5D MkII. I also use a Panasonic Lumix DMC LX3 which I carry every day. My photographic interests range from street candids to close observations of nature. I have taken a photo every day since 1 January 2007 and am now continuing this journey on SmugMug.
